Hari-ya-Ali has picked up a great deal and we are now moving to new places after Nruptenga Betta we have started to protect plantations done by Dr TapaShetty in the PC Jabin college campus. But challenges seem to come just as sun comes up everyday. Just after we protected the plants by circling it with thorns we see a huge mass of cattle coming inside the campus,i was shocked,a college campus where cattle is grazing and no one is really concerned,the warden seems not to care about it. All said and done we will pick the issue up with the authorities asap and get the stuff settled I have my ways of dealing with it after all thats why I am a social entrepreneur and not a social worker. Have a look at the desperate attempt by buffalos the destroy some of the plants we planted. Who is responsible? 1.We ,did we plant at the wrong location,well No since this is inside the college campus and is out of bounds for cattles 2.Cattle owner-No since he knows their is fodder and nobody is to blame hi...

Executive Summary Sathi Impact Study The team is happy to share with the Deshpande Foundation the findings of the impact study conducted for   “ Open Shelter and Home Placement   Project” in Hubli and Bangalore, Karnataka. The study was carried out to understand Sathi's work and gage its impact on the lives of disadvantaged children.An effort has been made to identify gaps, study ways to increase efficiency levels, verify and validate their theory of change and see that it conforms to the ground reality.                 We visited Sathi Hubli and Sathi Bangalore. We met almost staff members cutting across hierarchy, from the driver to the founder Mr Pramod Kulkarni. We visited partner NGO's and talked to staff and children referred from Sathi . Our visit to NIMHANS gave insights into the psychology of the children and brought out the critical need of such a partnership , one that Sathi is fruitfully engaged in. Cycling our way from BVB Engineering College  to Nruptenga Betta the fellows used slogans to convey the critical message of saving the environment. Nature is future,Cycle Cycle Recycle,Save tree save life..was all up in arms yesterday. With stoppage at places where we could draw most attention we made sure that our cleanliness drive,our plantation drive and our effort has more taker.

Last week i was in Bangalore for an Impact Study on Sathi's work (http://www.sathi-india.org/).I had a hectic 5 day could manage to see Gourav at Iisc and Mohit on Sunday 1:00 am thanks for the back ride .GK is doing wonders he is the new Iisc chess king ...i am proud of the feat dude. I visited NIMHANS Deptt of Psycho Social Care(http://www.nimhans.kar.nic.in/psychiatric%20social.htm) aha and had a few inputs on my work.I also went to apsa http://www.apsaindia.org/ I am back to Hubli after a journey that needs some time to settle down.I have a backpain now...may god be kind and it gets better soon. By the way we returned with reservation in the Intercity express but spent all our time between two train bogies ...ya I am a lost soul.I had the perfect journey with fragnant chameli flowers to boost my senses .

There is so much to write and there is so little time that I get.I sometimes feel like I am doing injustice to writing. I just hope that pics that put up will lead you to think on some of the stuff that I am passionate about.
